Carotid revascularization has been demonstrated to be safe and effective in reducing the likelihood of a future stroke in carefully selected patients. However, there is a risk of restenosis during follow-up regardless of revascularization technique. This webinar will educate vascular surgeons and trainees about issues related to a “redo” of carotid revascularization. The discussion will include proper patient selection, factors affecting choice of procedure and procedural techniques, as well as potential procedural complications.
